The BASF Ultrafuse acrylic ester-styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA) filament has higher heat resistance and dimensional stability compared to ABS. The particularly high weather, UV and chemical resistance allow the printed models to be used outdoors without hesitation. In addition, the prints have a high-quality, matt surface. Thanks to its dimensional stability and mechanical strength, BASF Ultrafuse ASA filament is ideally suited for prototyping. Note: The current filaments of BASF Ultrafuse were sold under the brand name Innofil3D until the end of 2019. The Dutch manufacturer was previously acquired by the German chemical company BASF. As part of the acquisition, the filaments were renamed and the packaging changed. The printing material itself is still the same high-quality filament as before.
